Within the City of Salmon, we offer a number of recreational amenities that include four fully operational parks, a public ice rink, a public swimming pool, public tennis courts, a municipal golf course and a number of athletic fields for activities such as baseball, soccer and softball. 

In addition, the Salmon River passes through the middle of the City providing easy access for boating and other water recreation such as rafting, tubing and swimming.  Please go to the links listed below for further information about our parks and recreational opportunities!  

The Salmon ice rink is managed by the Salmon Hockey Association, the ice rink provides our children and adults with a fantastic winter sports amenity.  Above the Hockey rink is an outdoor public ice rink, open to the public with lights and a concession stand.  For more information about joining Salmon Hockey, click here

The City of Salmon Golf Course, nestled in the Lemhi Valley with panoramic views of mountains on all sides, is a fantastic amenity for this community.

The City Park provides for sport activities such as tennis, pickleball and basketball.

The Senior Citizens of Salmon are located in the Salmon Valley Center on Main Street next to the Salmon River Bridge.  Meetings are every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11:30. Seniors come together to enjoy a lunch, programmed entertainment and bingo plus some good old fashion company and card games! 

In addition, the Seniors provide a critical service to the Salmon

Community through their "Meals On Wheels" Program.  This service is provided to all seniors who are unable to attend the weekly events and who would like in-home meals.
